Working in partnership for better mental health in schools

The WISDOM Research Network brings together primary and secondary schools in England with academic researchers. Working together, we enable high quality mental health research that meets the diverse needs of school communities.

Why your school should join the Network

Help improve children and young people’s mental health by engaging with cutting-edge mental health research and accessing the Network’s valuable expertise and resources.

Schools that join the Network will further benefit from opportunities to connect with other schools and help shape future mental health research.

Why researchers should partner with the Network

Academic researchers will benefit from having a network of schools ready and eager to take part in your research.

Who we are

We are a team at the University of Oxford who want to improve the mental health of children and young people through facilitating relationships between schools and researchers. We are part of Mental Health in Development, which is funded by the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR).

We want to hear from schools or organisations that work with or across schools (such as Local Authorities, Multi-Academy Trusts, Charities) who would like to find out more about the WISDOM Research Network.
